I cant find where to claim myself as dependent

im 18 living with my parents and claimed that i wasnt dependent when i am so i went to amend my return but i have looked many times and cant seem to find where to change this option the only thing i see is claiming others as my dependents. Help would be greatly appreciated

In the My Info section of the program when you are editing your personal information, you will land on a screen labeled Let's check for some other situations check the box labeled Another taxpayer can claim me as a dependent on their tax return

If you are 18 you can be claimed as a dependent by your parents. Go to MY INFO and click your name. Go through the screens to the question that asks if someone else can claim you as a dependent. You need to say YES.
