I did not file my printed return and found a mistake. How can i correct it without doing an amended return?

Turbo tax is showing that I filed my return because I finalized for printing. However, I did not send in and in review, I found a big mistake. How do I correct this without doing an amended return? I don't want to submit an amendment since the original was never filed.

Do not click on anything that says "amend" if you have not e-filed. To get back in to the return to make changes or corrections before you file, click on "add a state"-----you do not really have to add a state return, but that trick will let you back in to the return to go through it and make changes before you e-file.
