I filed an amended OHIO return. I received a check for the amended turn amount. I also received a check for the original erroneus tax form

How do I return the check for the Original return? I received both a check for the original tax form AND the amended?

The IRS is very good at figuring it out.

If you have to repay it, they will let you know.
When you started the amended return it should rest your account to zero and post the change from there.
You can check your Online account for individuals to see the refund history.

It was an OHIO Amended return, not Federal IRS. Ohio has a very poor system for amended returns, must be submitted by postal service, so slow.
