Question

I filed an amended return for 2021, it was accepted by the IRS on December 9,2024 but I have not heard anything else about it. Is there something that I need to do ?

    Do not expect quick results from amending. It can take four months or more for the IRS to process an amended return.

    It can take the IRS 16 weeks or longer to process and amended tax return.
