Question

I forgot to put the return address on the envelope of my tax return

I mailed my taxes in, back in February. I forgot to put my return address on both my state and federal tax return envelopes. Should I just file again or is there a number I can call to get in contact with a irs representative? Or do I wait?

I don't think it will be a problem unless the post office has to return the taxes to you.

 

You can check the status of your tax return.  

You will need:

  • Social Security Number.
  • Tax return year.
  • Hilling Status.
  • Exact refund amount
