I got a direct deposit date of 2/24/2025 and paid for five days earlier when will I receive my refund?

Remember that the “”5 day early” date is based on the date given to you on the IRS refund site—-not the date the TT site shows in your account.   If your refund does not come in five days ahead of the IRS date, they are supposed to cancel the $25 fee.

You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount  (line 35a of your 2024 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:

You should receive an email from TurboTax that your refund is on its way. If you don't receive your refund by today, you will also receive a follow up email as to why TurboTax was unable to deposit your funds on time, and you will be entitled to receive a refund of the $25 fee charged if applicable.

5 Days Early Option

Does anyone know if Bank of America excepts the 5 days early through TT because I did the 5 days early and my transcripts updated just wondering if I’ll have to wait till the deposit date on the transcripts because of bank of America or if they will release it early 

My deposit date is the 25th it was updated on the irs site today around 9am did the five day early using credit Karma still didn’t get it yet. Hopefully today.

They don't have a clue when the refund will come. Best we get is their uneducated guess. It's 50/50 either way might get it early might be after the 1st. TT SHOULDNT OFFER  a flawed service that is only accurate in all the time or worse. It's pathetic that all your willing to offer is to not charge us for the service if you were wrong. Hell the only job I know of that you can. Be wrong ay half the time or worse and keep your job is the weather man. Time to add TT to that list. If  wrong on my job half the time that would mean 5-6 on average people would most like be killed or at the very least seriously injured. Wonder how long they would keep me working with numbers like that? If you can't work the bugs out of a product or service then don't offer it. People get their hopes up man. Some may even slip and tell their kid that they are going to get them something expensive that they otherwise couldn't afford any other time of the year. And now the parent and the kids are scared for life and traumatized. You know what TT fked up my return last year and the year before. **bleep** near screwed up me getting my stimulus money. My state return is still stuck in received limbo or should I say deceived limbo. Maybe we will see our money by then close of this quarter or right after the start of the next. How about some **bleep**ing accountability TT. OF COURSE your not going to charge us if it doesn't come 5 the days early 1 you can't even see that they come on times much less early. One would think that  department of the federal government could get a DD into a Federal Credit Union even faster but I guess being a federally isn't all it's cracked up to be. This was the better part of a solid down payment on my brand New, Lowrider ST. God. **bleep** it. And you know what else the **bleep** treasury already been heldy.money up all year long as they took more than their fair share all year long. What about some of that interest compounded and accrued daily at 3.9% since January 01,2024 hell that has to be a minimum of $500-$600 each over the course of a year in interest that any of us would have enjoyed  in a high yield savings account.  And truthfully to be fair that is letting y'all off easy. Don't make me break out that capital gains tax on yah **bleep**. You to TT you don't exactly deserve the capital gains tax but you **bleep** sure should get a fine everyday from the 5; day early straight through until the returns are dd. I believe the IRS PENALTY  for an employee not having w-2's and 1099's on time is 97$ a day everyday until delivered. Why should it be any different for TT. WHAT ARE YOU ABOVE ALL THAT are you better then the rest of us we'll 50/50 of us. Straight up man DONT **bleep**ING OFFER A SERVICE OR PRODUCT THAT YOU CANT DELIVER ON BECAUSE ITS FLAWED. THIS WILL BE THE LAST EVER TAX Season THAT I spend waiting on my corrected and adjusted  return . Because TT can seem to bring an umflawed product or service to the market. I can e-file em myself for free and have no issues. Hell there is even an option  directly on the IRS web site now and they will help you. TT IS ABOUT TO BE OBSOLETE. GOD FORBID IF QE CITIZENS HAD TO ACTUALLY LEARN SOME GENERAL MATH AND ACHIEVE MINIMAL RETENTION WHEN Rearding. QE ARENT GOING RO CHARGE YOU FOR THE SERVICE QE PROMISED AND FAILED RO DELIVER JUST Doesn't CUT IT IN AMERICA ANYMORE. WHAT DO YOU THINK WE ARE FKING CHINA OR RUSSIA MAYBE NOW ? has anyone received their deposit that was scheduled for 2/24/2025 ??

My transcript showed refund date of 2/26, I got a direct deposit at like 4pm on the 21st. I have td. Hopefully this info helps
