I mailed my amended 2015 tax return on 2/15/16. The "Where's my amended return" tool (4/6/2016) says the IRS has no record of my amended return. Do I mail a second copy?
The IRS didn't receive my amended return.
I would suggest waiting a couple more weeks before you send another copy. They take up to 16 weeks to process and they may have not updated the system yet. If you send another copy next time send it priority so that you can have tracking and receipt that it was received.
