Question

I need to change my direct deposit info for my tax returns

it does not give me the option to "Edit" my routing number and account number when i'm about to submit my payment options

You have to go to Step 2 in the FILE section.

You cannot  change banking information while your return is in pending, nor can you change it after the return is accepted.  The IRS does not allow it.
