Question

I need to make a correction to my return and I just efiled. It says Federal is accepted. How do I fix this?

Too late. now you must wait until the original return is fully processed to see if the IRS catches the error(s) and adjusts accordingly. if so, no amended return should be needed unless the IRS requests it. Otherwise, you'll need to file an amended return and perhaps state as well if that was affected.
