I need to update my direct deposit information from last year, but it is not letting me.

You cannot change banking information while your return is in pending, nor can you change it after the return is accepted. The IRS does not allow it.

I didn’t file yet! I’m at the end, it’s auto-filling last years back which I no longer use. I have not submitted anything yet since I can’t remove the bank or change it.
