I purchased an EV in 2024, transferred the credit to the dealer but didn't file form 8936 with my tax return. Received my refund but need instructions to amend & add form

I started the amendment and could not find an option to add Form 8936 under deductions and credits. I did a search for 8936 and no instructions or options to add in amendment are given.

To access form 8936, use the Jump to function.

Open your return or amendment
Click on the Search button (magnifying glass icon) on the top right of your screen
In the Search box, enter form 8936 and click on the magnifying glass icon
In the search result box, click on Jump to form 8936
TurboTax will take you directly to the Energy-Efficient Vehicles section where you can start entering information for your form 8936.

Hi MinhT1, I tried that but for some reason it would only load a topic about that form. With my amendment started I looked on the left pane and there was a menu that said "Tax Tools" and I was able to find and file the form there. Thank you for the response 🙂
