Question

I received a corrected 1099b. i deleted the original copy then downloaded a corrected copy. the sales are showing duplicated transactions. how do i get this corrected?

are you sure you used the remove imported data link. then close the return and reopen to make sure the data is gone. then you should be able to import the corrected 1099-B provided the broker has set it up in electronic format.

You should not use the Delete Form for that. Go to Step By Step process, Federal Taxes, Wages & Income. Regardless of whether you use Show me All or Chose What to Work On the first section is IMPORT SUMMARY. Click the VIEW button and it will show your downloaded copies. You would select the one to remove by clicking the DELETE button adjacent to the incorrect copy.
