You probably received a notification from TurboTax that your return has been “Accepted” it means that the IRS has accepted it for processing. It does not mean that it has been processed yet, just that is complete and accurate for them to start working on processing your return. You might also receive an email from TurboTax that your refund is “on its way”. This is more than likely an automated marketing email.

Always go by the actual date provided on the IRS website as we have no control over your return once the IRS has accepted it for processing. The IRS website have the most accurate and up to date information. It gets updated once a day. If you have any inquiries regarding any refund delay, you should contact the IRS or your state Department of revenue directly.
