I received an envelope in the mail from Intuit payments. Inc. is this my refund check

Did you open the envelope? Is the amount on the check the amount of your federal refund?

I haven’t retrieved it from the mailbox. It was just showing on my informed delivery app letting me know it was coming today in the mail.

I also received mine today but I’ve been unable to cash it because the check cashing places can’t verify the check. The number listed on the check is to turbo tax and if you try and call cross river bank they tell you to reach out to turbotax

@Amurriel99 Situations like that just demonstrate how much better it would be to have an actual bank account where you could go inside and deposit the check to your account, and then perhaps wait only a day or two for the check to clear. Without a bank account, you are going around to "check cashing" places that will charge you a fee to cash your check and give all kinds of aggravation about cashing it.

I do have an actual bank. That’s where I went first but they also did not take the check. Checks have to be verified when it’s a certain amount no matter where I take it. Thanks 🙂

It was for me! I forgot to add a digit in my account number they said they were unable to deposit so they sent a check on 2/19 received it on 03/02 and i just deposited into my bank so i wouldn’t have any issues.

So u didn’t have any issues cashing or getting it deposited into your account? Cause other people are having issues

I’ve received a paper check from them aswell, tried to deposit it to TWO banks, one mobile and one in person& they denied it each time. The first bank which was mobile said the check was fraudulent, and terminated my account. I went in person to deposit check to another bank, and Im on the app and it shows return check charge back. This has been a nightmare!!!!

No, my check still will not clear so I’ll wait till tomorrow or Friday

I received a paper check from intuit, deposited check into my CHASE bank account on 3/02, hold was placed till 3/12. When a check is returned it’s usually very quickly (I work in banking as well so pretty familiar with process) check still reflects in my account as of this morning, so hopeful everything is fine. However intuit needs to either create a process for check verification or make it easier to work with their third party partners to make things easier for verification.
