Question

I was on my F1 visa and I came here in Feb as first time immigrant and have not received my conditional green card yet ; can I please know if I need to file on status

February of 2024 or 2025? 

 

If you are on a F-1 visa, you are likely exempt for 5 years.  This means you would be a Non-Resident Alien at this time and would need to file a form 1040NR.  TurboTax does not support the 1040NR, but our partner Sprintax does and can help with your non resident return.
