Question

If I haven't received my return and it's been 30 days and all my status says is accepted still what is going on and what should I do?

    Other than calling the IRS there is nothing you need to do and calling is not required even when the tax return has been accepted by the IRS for 30 days or more.

     

    After the tax return has been Accepted by the IRS (meaning only that they received the return) it will be in the Processing mode until the tax refund has been Approved and then an Issue Date will be available on the IRS website.

     

    Call the IRS: 1-800-829-1040 hours 7 AM - 7 PM local time Monday-Friday
