Im about to start an amendment for 2024. Why is the calculator showing I owe tax before I've added any changes or amounts?

It's not clear if you started AMEND correctly

Alway make a paper copy of your original return before amending with TurboTax because you will lose it otherwise.

Is this the amount that you would have owed on your original tax return?

If so did you already make the payment?
If you did make a payment and its a smaller number, that may represent a tax penalty that you still owe.
