IND-032-04 - 'SpousePriorYearPIN' or 'SpousePriorYearAGIAmt' in the Return Header must match the e-File database error!

Please Help!

I am in the process of amending my return and it keeps getting rejected. I see that people have tried to put 0 in for spouse AGI or select they didn't file the previous year but I don't see any of those options in the amended return pages. I've gone through the amend return process about 10 times and I don't see anywhere a place to put the AGI for both me and/or my spouse.

Yes, the AGI question comes up in Step 1 under the File section. Here's how to fix this:

 

  1. Sign in to your TurboTax account.
  2. Select Fix my return, then select File.
  3. On the Just one more step screen, select the Start to the right of Step 1.
  4. Continue through the order screens until you get to the signature section. You can correct your AGI here.
  5. Select Continue, or Continue to file, until you submit your tax return.

There is no 'Fix my return' when I amend my return. It takes me to the amend process and on the side its only Amend (which is continuing to do what I'm doing) or Cancel Amend.
