Intuit.com instructions for amending 2018 return don't make sense

I have TurboTax Premier for Mac. On this page (https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/4667229-how-do-i-amend-my-2018-return-in-the-turbotax-cd-download-software) it says that in order to amend a submitted return, make a copy of that file and then "Inside your program, search for amend and then click the Jump to link."

Well, there is nothing that comes up when I search for amend, so I don't have any "Jump to" link to click. These instructions are ridiculously vague. Search where? I am using the Search box under the Help menu item.

OK, so I was presented with a link to amend my filing when I closed the tax file and then re-opened it, but when I went to file my amended return, I was only offered efile for state. There was no spot during the workflow where I was told I had to mail in my amended federal return. Instead, I had to restart the workflow from the beginning and pretend I was going to mail my state return in (even though I had already efiled it). At that point, I was finally offered steps to print and mail my federal amended return (no efile option). This could really be a lot better handled in the software.
