Is the five days early processing mandatory to get the refund deposited into my bank account?

    No. This is not mandatory. This is an option to receive your refund Up to 5 days early. You can choose just the normal direct deposit option. If you need to remove this fee, see the links below to get to the fees section and remove any non-desirable charge
