The emails would have come from TurboTax/Intuit.   If using Online TurboTax, did you go all the way to the final screen and click an orange button "Transit My Returns Now?"   Then you should have gotten 2 emails--the first one saying the return had been submitted, followed after 24-48 hours (sometimes sooner, sometimes longer) that the efiled return was accepted or rejected.    Also check your email's  Spam/Junk folder in case the emails ended up there.   Also check the following:

Log back in to your Online TurboTax account and go to the Tax Home (it may open there).   What is shown for the status of your return?    Does it say pending, accepted, rejected, started, printed, ready to mail, or what?
