I mailed in my 1040 individual forms to the Department of treasury internal revenue service Kansas city MO [removed]. I mailed it in April 9th and it states that I did not file my return, yet its been seven weeks , I was wondering if I sent it into the wrong location ( I did not enclose a payment) or if this is standard wait time.

Make sure that when entering your federal tax refund information on the IRS website you use the Social Security number, the Filing Status and the amount of the federal tax refund as shown on the Form 1040 Line 35a - https://www.irs.gov/refunds

The mailing address for the federal tax return is based on your state and whether or not you will be including a tax payment.  Go to this IRS website for the mailing addresses, by state. with and without a tax payment - https://www.irs.gov/filing/where-to-file-paper-tax-returns-with-or-without-a-payment

I've tried the first way recommended and nothing comes up and I've looked up where I was suppose to send it and its that same address, I guess I was just wondering if it's normal for it to say I didn't  file my taxes after mailing it in seven weeks ago because it says six is the standard wait time for the website to be updated yet mines say not filed.

It may just be taking a bit longer for the IRS to update their website.  Please see this link from the IRS for more details as the IRS does indicate they are currently processing paper-filed returns received in April, 2025.
