My 2024 Desktop for Windows looks nothing like the desktop version in the Help videos (so frustrating). Thus, I'm unable to find how to amend an already accepted return?

Using the TurboTax desktop editions, follow this procedure for amending the 2024 tax return.

Continue the tax return you want to amend

Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home & Business)

Click on Other Tax Situations

Under Other Tax Forms

On Amend a return, click on the start button.

Murphy's Law...as soon as I posted that question, I re-opened TurboTax and on the Welcome/Home screen (before selecting a tax return), I found the Amend is all the way at the bottom of the screen.

Of course this was further complicated that once I was in a return, I couldn't find how to close that return, to have it get me back to the Welcome/Home screen, without exiting completely, then re-opening.

Thanks for the other method to get to the Amend process!
