Where can I find financial institutions like Prudential Tax Services and Metropolitan Life Insurance Company?

You are not required to use the import feature. If your financial institutions do not partner with TurboTax for importing purposes, you can scroll down and choose a button that says "Enter a different way." then on the next screen choose an investment type and Continue. If you get a screen that asks "How would you like to upload your 1099..." scroll way down and choose "Type it in myself." And then the interview screens will walk you through entering the 1099 manually.
