My return of 2023 Rusty checked it last year I'm going back this year to correct the issue how do I do that and e-file it back

How do I e-file from 2023 because I corrected the mistake that I made from last year and I'm trying to eat all it back how do I do that

E-filing for 2023 has been permanently closed since October 2024.  The only way to file a 2023 return now is by mail.  You have to print it, sign and date it in ink, and mail it to the IRS and state.

 

We do not know who "Rusty" is or how he was involved with your 2023 return.   Did you use one of the "Live" online versions?  Was he your tax expert?
