Never received verification letter from nj state of taxation. What if they have wrong address or mailed to different address? How do i find out if im waiting for letter or its just taking very long to receive return. It was accepted Jan 28 it is now

What letter? Do you have some reason to expect a letter from NJ? Is there a message on the NJ refund site that mentions they are sending a letter?

Federal and state refunds come from completely separate entities, There is no rule as to which one will come first or how much time there will be between their arrivals. Some states process returns quickly and some are very slow.
