Overpaid on Filing

I used TurboTax Live ($240) to file my taxes. I just learned from the IRS that I overpaid my amount due by $236. Does this fall under their guarantee?

    It depends on what the IRS found.

    • TurboTax can only process the information you enter.
    • If there is a credit or an incorrect posting it will not be covered.
    • If there is a calculation error it may be.

      It states "We reviewed your form 1040 for the tax year ending in 2024 and found that you miscalculated your estimated tax penalty"
