To anyone who would know,

TurboTax this year for me costs $199. Is there a way to pay that in installments??? Because I WANT to file but (like every adult), I got bills and that’ll wipe me out.

Sorry--TurboTax does not offer an installment plan to pay your fees for using the software.

Use this IRS site for other ways to file for free.  There are 8  free software versions available from the IRS Free File site

Or—if you live in certain states you may be eligible to use the new IRS Direct File

In Filing Season 2025, Direct File will be available in Alaska, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Idaho, Kansas, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Washington, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.

What version are you using that costs $199?  If you buy the Desktop download program you can use a lower version like Deluxe.  All the Desktop programs have the same forms.  If you install the Desktop program  you can move your online return to it without paying for Online.

You can buy the Desktop Download program here or in stores or online like Amazon, Costco, Walmart, etc.
