Pending status for over 96 hrs. Problem with TT or IRS?

Both federal and states were filed on 3/24. According to TurboTax efile status, it's still pending on 3/28.

 

Is there a backlog problem with IRS?  I never experienced such long delay. Usually got accepted within a day.

 

Got a feeling that my returns got caught in a black-hole.  :-)

 

Anyone seeing similar delay?

exact same situation for me.  I just talked to someone and they said my file is sitting with IRS waiting for acceptance or rejections.  Nothing they can do at this point.  Said to give it til Monday and then if nothing changed, call back and they will have to contact the IRS.

Nothing is easy anymore.  I've never waited more than a day for acceptance.

Exactly same situation here! Filed on 3/24 but still pending today, both federal and state.

Never encounter such a long delay before. I really suspect something is wrong with TT itself. Customer service is not being helpful.

Same here.  Submitted on 3/26 and still in pending status.  Doesn’t make sense.  I have been a preparer for 5 years, and it never takes longer than 24 hours for the IRS to accept or reject a return.  This seems like a TT issue, and of course there is no way to contact them.  Getting worried that my direct debit day is going to pass before the returns get accepted.  Very annoyed.

Ok, just got email from both federal and states that my returns are rejected due to incorrect information. 

 

I need to relaunch TurboTax and do a software update to fix the problem. So the problem is due to TurboxTax and not IRS.

 

Just e-file again and keeping my fingers crossed.
