Refund Overpayment from TPG Products

I received a payment of $847.00 from TPG Products for my 2024 tax return to my checking account. Turbotax calculated I had a Federal Refund of $412.00 ?? They are overpaying me by $435.00. I can't get a hold of a human to talk to.

SBTPG only handles the federal tax refund issued by the IRS. It does not handle any type of state income tax refund.

Go to the IRS website to see if the IRS issued you a refund more than what was entered on your federal tax return, Form 1040 on Line 35a - https://www.irs.gov/refunds

I am not concerned with my state refund. Turbo tax says my Federal Refund is $412 and the amount that was deposited to my bank was $847.00. They overpaid me by $435.00. I called and can't get in touch with anyone.

If the IRS changed your return they will mail you a letter, probably in a couple weeks. Are you sure Turbo Tax wasn't just showing you the Net combined of federal and state? How much was your state refund or tax due? Double check your actual refund on 1040 return line 35a.
