Refund says today, haven’t received

Today, I should be receiving a refund from turbo tax through credit karma. The Santa Barbara bank shows the funds and fees have been paid. I show nothing in my credit karma account. The date for deposit on my transcript is for today, February 26. Has anyone received their refund yet? If needed my cycle code is 20250605

While you do get a date from the Internal Revenue Service as to when your refund should be available, they do not specify exact times. If you have a deposit date of today and have not received your refund yet, be patient.

There are no fixed times or hours when you can receive your 2024 tax refund during the 2025 Tax Season.

Additionally, each bank varies on when they post direct deposits. Even if your bank "usually" posts direct deposits at a certain time, they may handle Tax Refunds differently. Some banks might post once in the morning and once in the afternoon, only one time a day, and some may instantly.

In the Community, we do not have access to your TurboTax account and can not tell you where your refund is or why you do not have your deposit yet.

If your refund date has passed and you have not received your refund, it may be that your direct deposit, for a variety of reasons, was not able to be completed and your refund is coming as a paper check to the address on your return.

@CatinaT1, while you feel your response is helpful, it's actually an insult considering people inquiring are not first time filers with the IRS or turbotax for a lot of people and so we understand while they don;t specify a time direct deposit are available by 6am the day of and that's with any direct deposit. If you have a date, that date starts at 12am and typical deposit start then and by 6am you have your money. I have been using turbotax for over 7 years and has never had this happen. And clearly the people commenting hasn't experience this either. I tell yo one thing, turbotax will lose a lot of customers behind this.

They are definitely going to lose a lot of business for this. It is feeling more and more like a scam and a scheme that has been made for us to open these credit karma accounts and now we have no access to our money. We deserve to atleast receive a real answer, not the jargon put in the FAQ section of a website.

Same here. They have had mine since the 21st was supposed to get it today but no deposit yet.

Yes, they have had mine for a few days as well. I forgot to mention that, thank you! I think that’s why I’m questioning because I haven’t had a process like this happen before.

I have never had them take so long to send my refund before. Usually I have it the day before my DDD.

Today is my DDD also I bank with CHIME. I did the fees from my refund I have not received anything yet. My bank does not see my refund yet as well. Not sure what’s going on this year , but I. EVER EVER waited after 9am for my refund to hit even when using sbbt for fees. This is the first time this has happened. Also WMR has not updated to refund sent , but TT says hurray you got your refund. I’m over it this year.

I did a refund advance with turbo tax, and when the rest of my refund came SBTPG did not deposit the money into my account. Instead they deposited the remainder after fees back into the SBTPG account.

@Vp47 @selah376 The guy tells me I should wait some hours if the date says today I will get it! I said someone needs to take some ownership to the real problem, if your company couldn’t handle all the new business than say that and than he says yes we are having some technical difficulties but to be patient. I tell him SBTPG sent my money yesterday all you have to do is deposit. I really don’t understand what the hell is the problem

This is definitely and crazy and unacceptable as this is a prepaid card and they offer early deposits anyway so why is it that the deposit is not early or even on time at this point and then the tt rep has the nerve to reply that while they give us a date they don't specify the exact time! Like that's a slap in the face like we as working adults don't know or understand how a direct deposit work We never have to wait until later in the day to access a direct deposit. Typically a direct deposit is available by 12 midnight and if not by midnight then by the time you pick the crust from your eyes your money is there. This is not kool.

Mine was suppose to post today as well,Mine was approved on the 21st and I HAVE NEVER EVER waited until the day of , it is always been earlier and yet Credit Karma is no help, they hang up on you its is a mess. Mine still has not posted yet and I AM WORRIED. Credit Karma is horrible.
