Returns rejected but status shows pending
I received a text from Turbotax stating my federal return was rejected on 3/28 which forced my state return to also be rejected. Turbotax still shows the federal return as "Pending". I'm stuck because I can't re-file because the status is pending but I received communication they were rejected so they need to be re-filed. I'm concerned given how long this is taking I am going to have to apply for an extension since the tax deadline is coming up. I was already significantly delayed in even filing my taxes due to a Turbotax issue that wasn't fixed until 3/27.
