okay, I received another w 2 after doing my taxes .  I was getting over 600 back then on the amended return only 16 why the difference of 600 ?

    The amended return assumes that you already got the $600 from the original return.  The 16 dollars is the new additional refund amount for the new W2.

     

    You should wait until after you receive the refund for the original return before you file the amended return.  The IRS may change the return for you and you would have no need to file the amended return.
