Question

Submitted federal and state amendment but state is missing

Hello,

I have submitted federal and state amendment (California),

I only got confirmation for the federal and it was accepted (it only took 20 mins or so).

But I can't find any trace of state amendment, anywhere including confirmation email, and the status page.

Should I print out the amendment forms and send physically?

This California FTB webpage indicates that individual amended returns are currently taking about 5 months to process. It may further complicate the process if you were to submit a paper copy after filing electronically.
