Tax 2024 E-filed but I need to send an amended return but *.tax2024 file is corrupted

After E-filing in early February, I discovered I didn't have all my investment paperwork so I need to file both Fed+State amended returns. Unfortunately, the *.tax2024 file is corrupted and won't open. But I do have the PDF of my return.

Is there any way I can import the PDF of my original 2024 return (like I would a previous year) so I can create the amended file using the same data as my original filing?

Thanks!

No you can’t use a pdf for that.   Did you use the Desktop program?   Look for other files ending in .tax2024.  Did you make any backups ?   If you don't have the main .tax file you might have one that starts with a Tilde sign ~ like  "~your name.tax2024".  That file is if your computer crashes or your real file gets lost or deleted or corrupt so you can restore it.
