TT asks me for reason of ammendment to the return while I haven't filed it yet.
Hi, I've paid for the tax prep, and wanted to review the PDF before filing. I didn't file it electronically or via mail, I just exported as PDF because I wanted to review the return before I actually file. I did find several errors and fix them but its asking me for reason of ammendment, and my return is also marked as "ammended return". Is there a way to remove this ammendment flag since i have not filed anything yet? Is there an issue filing the return as "ammended return" even though i have not filed anything previously? Asking for Federal, NY state, and IN State. Thank you
