Question

Turbo tax has my return status as accepted. Does that mean IRS approved & I can ignore letter I received ?

My first return was rejected & I submitted the additional info. Now my status has been accepted but I just received IRS letter requesting same info, should I ignore it?

No, did Not ignore the letter from the IRS.  

 

After the tax return has been Accepted by the IRS (meaning only that they received the return) it will be in the Processing mode until the tax refund has been Approved and then an Issue Date will be available on the IRS website.
