I purchased TT because i could import 1099 from brokerages. However, the desktop version failed to import from any of them like Fidelity, Robinhood. Always gave me the internal error. I had to use to the online version to to import then save to a file then open with TT desktop and continue. I filed using TT desktop but now i need to amend my return but and I can only do it using the TT desktop. Again, It wont let me import 1099s. What should I do?

The issue is I can import if I use the online version. The desktop version won’t let me import anything.

@c-yuong

Do you use a VPN?

I think some folks had success if they turned off their VPN temporarily.

______________

I think that in a prior year, some folks found that if the logged into their brokerage account first, on a separate tab...that it worked then  (seems like a wild guess on that though).
_____________

I didn't have any issues with a Fidelity import into Premier Desktop (Windows) on 3 March.
