What can I do if I have not received my tax return after two months?

    You can then check the status of your refund at Where's My Refund for the IRS.  Many states have a similar tool on their website. If you did check your status and it has been in the same status for the last two months, you can contact the IRS to find out what is happening.  Their number is 800-829-1040.
