What should I do I amended my taxes march 5th still haven’t gotten 2nd return? When I check where’s my refund on IRS it says check your info.but it’s correct.

IRS accepted it and haven’t gotten any email from them since.

the IRS is taking around 16 weeks to process an amended return. Did you file the amneded return after the original was fully processed and your refund received? if not, this could further delay the amended return refund.

If you filed an amended return Form 1040X, be sure you are using the correct IRS refund tool (see link below) and have waited long enough for it to show up there. It's different than the tool used for the original return, and it takes longer to show up. The info after an amended return should show up in the tool below around 3 weeks after submission.

NOTE: As you'll see at the page below, it can take 8-12 weeks (or frequently longer up to 16 weeks) to receive a refund from an amended return.
