When will the state of Virginia deduct my taxes owed from my checking account? The state taxes were filed and accepted on 2/27/25

    Since you chose direct debit, the payment is typically deducted close to the date you specified when you filed your return. If you didn't specify a date, it may be processed shortly after your return was accepted.
