Where do I locate a 2nd taxpayer's return for the prior year under my account? (I thought I filed both of my children's returns in the same place last year)

If you used exactly the same account and user ID for two tax returns, the second one overwrote the first one and the first one is lost forever. When you use online, you get one return per fee. Each return needs its own account and its own user ID.

In case you just forgot the account you used, try the account recovery tool.

Many people have multiple TT accounts and forget how to access them. Log out of the account you are in now.
