It's also possible someone may comment on your amended dependent issue today when more tax helpers are in the forum, but it would require more info.  It would  help if you explained what the dependent issue was in the original return, and then what you changed it to in the amended return.   And you may also need to describe the dependent's situation-i.e., dependent's age, student situation, relationship to you, etc.
