Will my refund be deposited today?

My IRS transcript shows a direct deposit date for 02/24/2025 but this morning when checking the TurboTax app, my status changed from accepted back to pending. I have already lost my 5 day early deposit.

I'm sorry I skimmed because 2/24ers are pissed. I have been up for hours looking, asking, and reading into it. Here's what I found out:

1. Most of the delays are being caused by the rescinding of the 5 days advance offer. (Updated pricing)

2. All parties are not cooperating via customer service.

3. If a pending status replaces your bar, then you are most likely to receive by the end of the day.

4. If a pending status doesn't replace your bar you will get it by 2/26.

5. Worst case scenario is if they try to send your refund after the alteration and it doesn't process as planned they will be send paper checks to arrive 5-7 days post IRS ETA.

@Jayytee4242 I have seen some people say drops are happening after 9pm. Have you heard anything about it?

The most accurate answer concerning timing is to wait for the system update via TurboTax which happens automatically 1pm Pacific Time. Those who deposited before that time do not qualify for each discrepancy and/or does not have a deposit date of 2/24.

Same! an I have been calling IRS, Turbo and my bank an no one has an answer. Its frustrating.

24rh deposit date and then said pending this morning as well.And this last hour said it was sent

According to their information, they received my refund on 2/25 and supposedly sent my refund less their fees and I don't have my money in my account. Never in 5 years has this happened to me. My money deposits into their credit karma account and usually goes in right away. I still do not have it. It tells me when they received the money and when they refunded my money but, it's still not in my account. I do not know what they are doing but, I never had this problem.

Well cross river era just told me they recieved it on the 21st! Siad it was settle today and accepted from my bank. However my bank (go2) is telling me they don't have it and don't be it......WOAHHHH NOW HEY NOW!!! LITERALLY AT 12:02 JUST GOT A BANK NOTIFICATION WHILE TYPING....UT HIT YALLL! I been telling my bf all day it's gonna hit after 12. But I'd be calling banks if I were you hunny.

same here. they just sent me an email stating that I will have it by end of day tomorrow and it was supposed to be deposited today. My pending status did change back to refund sent on TT, but on the irs website it doesn’t say it sent yet. My transcript date is for today 2/24. Idk i’m confused and just want my money!

I received my refund after 1pm. My ddd was 2/24/2025 I did the 5 day early but it was cancelled.

it’s 456pm right now for me and i’m still waiting for my state refund. eta said 2/24 but i haven’t received anything yet. no updates at all in my email as well.

it’s now the next day from my eta deposit for 2/24. i haven’t heard anything from TT and no deposit. i’m getting a little bit impatient

They received my deposit from the IRS and took their fees and my account still does not have deposit showing. Never did I ever have this issue with turbo tax. My money gets sent to their credit karma account. Usually I have it right away. They received my irs deposit yesterday said my money was refunded buy, not it in the account. Will not be using them again. 5 years and this has never happened.

I checked my refund status and it said it was sent to my bank but when I checked my bank no money what’s the problem

While you do get a date from the Internal Revenue Service as to when your refund should be available, they do not specify exact times. If you have a deposit date of today and have not received your refund yet, be patient.

There are no fixed times or hours when you can receive your 2024 tax refund during the 2025 Tax Season.

Additionally, each bank varies on when they post direct deposits. Even if your bank "usually" posts direct deposits at a certain time, they may handle Tax Refunds differently. Some banks might post once in the morning and once in the afternoon, only one time a day, and some may instantly.

In the Community, we do not have access to your TurboTax account and can not tell you where your refund is or why you do not have your deposit yet.

If your refund date has passed and you have not received your refund, it may be that your direct deposit, for a variety of reasons, was not able to be completed and your refund is coming as a paper check to the address on your return.

my state tax refund was supposed to go thru 2/24. it’s now 2/28 and i haven’t received anything at all. no notfications/email from TT regarding my refund if it’s on its way or anything. i called my bank (wells fargo) nothing pending. i tried calling TT but i can’t get a hold of a real person. the last time i heard from TT was on 2/3 when my refund was accepted. i’m getting a bit worried.
