Question

Wrong locality code on W2 which withheld monies at a higher rate. How do I get this corrected? Am I able to request a W2c

Not if the employer already sent the withholding to the wrong locality.   But you may be able to fix it when you prepare the state return.  Or it could be correct.     What state and localities are involved - what happened?
