2024 filed but did not delete 8995 form

I did not know to delete the 8995 tax form that populated on my return.

I had a 1040.

I had zero amount for qualified business income. Not using the business.

Taxable income populated 61,807 on line 11. Not sure where or how that amount was attained.

Please advise

The amount on line 11, Form 8995 is taken from your Form 1040 to calculate your qualified business income deduction (QBID). If you do not have an amount on Line 15 or on Line 13, Form 1040 there is nothing to do.

What is the Qualified Business Income (QBI) deduction?

If you do show an amount on your Form 1040, Line 13, then you should amend your tax return to remove Form 8995. Follow the instructions in the link below.
