California Form 568

I registered an LLC in 2024, which is owned 50/50 between me and my spouse. There are some expenses but no income for 2024. Per Turbotax guidelines, I split the expenses and entered them as 2 separate Schedule C's for me and my husband.

Moving over to California state tax returns, I see 2 Businesses under Business Summary. I selected one and answered that it is not an SMLLC. For the other one, I selected that it is an SMLLC and populated form 568. However, I am getting the message "If  prompted to check this message you cannot e-file" etc. I checked all of the conditions that were listed and none seem to apply. How can I figure out that is the issue so I can e-file?

Did you combine the income and expenses from the two federal Schedules C into one California business and delete the other? One of the conditions that requires mailing is having more than one SMLLC in your California return.

Also, if you open Form 568 using Forms Mode then click the Errors icon above the list of forms, the message box in the form footer may provide additional information.
