When attempting to create a new business in Quick Employer Forms the wheel keeps spinning. I've tried multiple times over the last three days. Can it be done? Or is it too late? Need to file 1099-nec. Please.

Try preforming a manual update. Occasionally, the online update does not work and a manual update is needed. Here are the instructions provided by TurboTax:

If you're having trouble updating your TurboTax 2024 for Windows Individual software using the "Check for Updates" method, here are instructions for how you can get the latest federal program update:

Close TurboTax and all other programs except this browser window.
Select this link to download the 319 MB update.
Save the update file to your Windows desktop.
Double-click the update file w_perrelsuperpatch... on your desktop to install the manual update.

We don't offer manual updates for TurboTax state software. If you need to update your state, here are your options.
