how can i determine the salvage Value of a food trailer? Could I say 0 ? This is my first year filing taxes for my food trailer and I am trying to determine the depreciation cost.

The salvage value would be what it would be worth at the end of it's useful life. It's an estimate but you can use zero if you don't know the estimated value or don't believe it will be worth anything. Entering a salvage value will reduce the amount of depreciation you claim on your tax return. Most of the time people do not account for salvage value when calculating depreciation for tax purposes.
