Question

Entered information from 1120S but doesn’t show any income for child deduction.

I followed the instructions for entering the information on form 1120S, and I paid myself around $46k this past year from my S-Corp. On my personal taxes, it doesn’t show any income and won’t let me claim the child tax credit or earned income. I’m not sure how to resolve this issue. Please help!

Did you enter your w2? Once it is entered, you should be fine.

Do you mean enter the information on the w-2 section on the form 1120S? Or do you mean to enter a separate w-2?

The W2 issued by your S-corp would be filed with your personal return.
